Lead with the buying decision
The main image, first bullet and first A+ module should answer the question a hesitant buyer is actually asking: will this fit, will it last, and why this one rather than the cheaper alternative below it.
Specification lists belong lower on the page. Reassurance belongs at the top.
Use review language as source material
Customer reviews, returns reasons and support tickets contain the objections that suppress conversion. Mining them produces sharper copy than any keyword tool, because it describes the product in the buyer's own words.
The same source also identifies product changes worth making, which is usually more valuable than copywriting alone.
Change one variable at a time
Image tests, price tests and copy tests run simultaneously produce a result nobody can interpret. Sequence them, allow enough sessions for a readable signal, and document the outcome so the learning survives staff changes.
Key takeaways
- •Answer buyer objections above the fold.
- •Mine reviews and returns for copy and product improvements.
- •Sequence tests and document results.
