Your data and your rights

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data TenX Digital handles, why we use it, and the choices and rights available to people in the European Union and European Economic Area.

Effective 8 September 2026

01

Who we are and scope

TenX Digital provides e-commerce management, marketplace growth, global sourcing and related advisory services. This policy applies when you visit tenx.digital, contact us, request an audit, or communicate with us about our services.

For personal data collected through this website and our own business communications, TenX Digital acts as the controller. When we process personal data solely on a client's instructions while delivering contracted services, that client may be the controller and TenX Digital may act as its processor under a separate data-processing agreement.

02

Information we collect

We may collect contact and professional details such as your name, work email, company, role, marketplace interests and the information you include in an enquiry. If you become a client, we may also process billing, contract, account-access and service-delivery records.

Our website and hosting providers may automatically receive limited technical data, including IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, referring page and security logs. We do not ask you to submit special-category personal data through the website.

03

Purposes and lawful bases

We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis under the GDPR, including:

  • Contract: to take steps at your request, prepare proposals, provide agreed services, invoice and manage our client relationship.
  • Legitimate interests: to respond to business enquiries, improve and secure our website, maintain records, prevent fraud and develop our services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation: to meet accounting, tax, regulatory and lawful disclosure requirements.
  • Consent: where required for optional marketing, non-essential cookies or another specifically explained purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time.
04

Sharing and processors

We may share personal data with personnel who need it, professional advisers, and vetted providers supporting hosting, communications, analytics, document management, payments and business operations. They may use it only for the agreed purpose and must protect it.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

05

International transfers

Because we serve clients globally, personal data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where a destination is not recognised as providing adequate protection, we use an approved safeguard such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where appropriate, or another lawful transfer basis. You may contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

06

Retention and security

We retain enquiry records only as long as reasonably needed to respond and manage a potential relationship. Client, contract and transaction records are retained for the service relationship and any period required by tax, accounting, legal or dispute-related obligations. Technical logs are kept for a limited period appropriate to security and operational needs.

We use proportionate organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No online system is wholly risk-free, but we review safeguards in light of the nature of the data and risks involved.

07

Cookies and website technologies

The website may use strictly necessary technologies required to deliver pages, protect the service and remember essential settings. If we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, we will provide appropriate information and, where required, obtain consent before they are set. Browser settings can also be used to control cookies, although blocking essential technologies may affect website operation.

08

Your EU and EEA rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing. You may object at any time to direct marketing and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You also have rights relating to decisions based solely on automated processing where such decisions have legal or similarly significant effects.

Submit a request through the contact form on this website and identify it as a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month, or explain if a lawful extension is needed. You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your EU or EEA country of residence, workplace, or where you believe an infringement occurred.

09

Children, third parties and updates

Our business services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Third-party platforms linked from this website operate under their own privacy notices, which we encourage you to review.

We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal or regulatory changes. The effective date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
